Inspired by my daughters, I went beyond designing homes to designing a meaningful jewelry collection that can be passed down for generations. Since I was a little girl I have loved charms and the meaning behind each one. Collecting them has been my thing and each one I own carries meaning by the person that gave it to me or the milestone it represents. The first two pieces I’ve designed for this collection are initials and a gold heart. I also made the circle charm—what I call a modern charm holder—to bring all the charms together. It attaches to different parts of the necklace of charms charm creating different lengths and styles. I hope you love them as much as my girls and I do.
Raquel Garcia is a Cuban-American interior designer, born in New York City and living in Fairfield, CT. She attributes her love for design and fashion to her father’s passion in the arts and culture. Growing up in a home that was filled with music, culture, and people from all walks of life, from an early age Raquel observed the people and beauty around her, and nuances of how all these pieces came together in her home, giving her a unique interpretation of design on a very personal level. As she learned to appreciate all the details of design, her father’s passions and his love for beauty was instilled in her and has inspired her own design work today.
